As a writer and a trained researcher, I invest a considerable amount of time exploring what the ordinary truths and experience create significant change. I am curious about the issues and stories surrounding people's wellness, survival, identity and care in all of my work. I engage in academic, digital storytelling, and journalism to write for different audiences.
CONSULTING
With an extensive background in digital content strategy and public relations, I work with clients to develop culturally competent copy and informed strategy. Projects range in needs, including social media, copy editing, and brand development.

TEACHING/FACILITATING
I have experience in teaching Principles of Speech and Fundamentals of Public Speaking at Howard University and Howard County College, respectively. In both courses, we explore the art of public speaking. I seek to have students discover their unique voice and develop their style. Moreover, I assist community organizers in using public narrative.
